Pierogies and new beer in Pottsville<\/p>\n

Yuengling & Son will unveil a limited-edition Polish-style Polska Pilsner on Thursday and serve it alongside samples of Mrs. T\u2019s mini-pierogies. Beer can be bought from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The beer and pierogies tasting is from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gift shop and museum at 420 Mahantongo St., Pottsville.<\/p>\n

\u2018Glass Menagerie\u2019 in Scranton<\/p>\n

See a classic play Thursday through Saturday when Scranton Fringe presents \u201cThe Glass Menagerie\u201d by Tennessee Williams. Told through the lens of memory, it follows a family\u2019s longing, obligation and fragile dreams. The shows are at 7:30 p.m. at the Sanctuary Theater, 1735 N. Main Ave., Scranton. \u2018Jurassic Park\u2019 movie scored by Philharmonic in Wilkes-Barre<\/p>\n

Tickets are going fast for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic\u2019s Saturday show. It will play the soundtrack for an HD screening of \u201cJurassic Park\u201d on the big screen. Oscar-winning composer John Williams wrote the score for the 1993 movie. It roars to life at 7 p.m. at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, 71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre. Buckets N Boards in Hazleton<\/p>\n

Buckets N Boards, a touring comedy, percussion and tap-dancing act, is part of the Hazleton Concert Series on Saturday. It has headlined shows on Disney cruise ships and performed widely. Trisha Yearwood in Wilkes-Barre<\/p>\n

Grammy-winning country music star Trisha Yearwood will perform an acoustic night of stories and songs Sunday at the F.M.
