BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Bethlehem’s mayor is looking back on the city’s progress, while looking to the future.<\/p>\n
Mayor J. William Reynolds took the stage at the ArtsQuest Musikfest Cafe on Wednesday morning for his State of the City address.<\/p>\n
He said one of the biggest challenges Bethlehem faces today is still housing.<\/p>\n
“We have a good problem that everyone wants to live in Bethlehem. But it’s a simple supply-and-demand issue, and people in the city of Bethlehem love where they live, and when people come here, they want to live here too which creates a real market dynamic,” he said.<\/p>\n
Reynolds also touched on Bethlehem’s growth, priorities, and vision for the city.<\/p>\n
He also highlighted some success stories, and mentioned Bethlehem’s plans for the nation’s 250th anniversary.<\/p>\n
