A new concept for the upscale restaurant that is better suited for the neighborhood\u00a0is a possibility.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillyvoice.com\/story-factory-movie-film-production-facility-philly\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Newly accredited production facility in Philly offers tax incentives to movie and TV crews<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;This has been really humbling,&#8221; the owners wrote in a social media <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DW3moRBDqPU\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">post<\/a>\u00a0Wednesday. &#8220;From the beginning we set out to be both a neighborhood restaurant and a destination restaurant. \u2026 Right now we are focused on taking some time to assess how we can make Fleur&#8217;s work so it can become the fixture in our community we know it can be.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant, located inside the former Fluehr&#8217;s Furniture Store building at 2205 N. Front St., opened in September to rave reviews. Its ownership team includes Josh Mann, Graham Gernsheimer and George Sabatino, a chef who formerly worked at Barbuzzo, Aldine and as culinary director for the\u00a0<a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phillyvoice.com\/out-magazine-marcie-turney-valerie-safran-gayborhood\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Safran Turney\u00a0<\/a>restaurant group.<\/p>\n<p>Fleur&#8217;s ambience, happy hour specials and farm-to-table menu led\u00a0<a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/philly.eater.com\/maps\/best-new-restaurants-philadelphia-heatmap\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eater\u00a0<\/a>to be name it one of the city&#8217;s best new restaurants earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>\nBut the owners said a lack of foot traffic rendered their business concept unsustainable.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;Our team is everything to us \u2026 and we won&#8217;t allow ourselves to get to the point where we cannot pay them,&#8221; their social media post said. &#8220;For this reason, we believe that remaining open after this week is not responsible.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>The owners called Fleur&#8217;s their &#8220;dream restaurant.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We love this building. We love our block and our neighbors.
