{"id":162168,"date":"2026-04-10T08:06:12","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T08:06:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/162168\/"},"modified":"2026-04-10T08:06:12","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T08:06:12","slug":"nelly-third-eye-blind-to-perform-in-pittsburgh-during-free-concert-for-americas-250th-anniversary-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/162168\/","title":{"rendered":"Nelly, Third Eye Blind to perform in Pittsburgh during free concert for America\u2019s 250th anniversary \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A free concert series celebrating 250 years since America\u2019s founding will reach the city of Pittsburgh this summer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The Commonwealth Concert Series will hit five cities between May 23 and June 27.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Nelly and Third Eye Blind are co-headliners for the Pittsburgh performance, which will be held Saturday, June 27, at Point State Park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Other performances include:<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, May 23: Bryce Jordan Center, State CollegeCole Swindell (headliner), Gabby Barrett and the Benny Havens Military BandSaturday, June 6: Erie Insurance Arena, ErieThe Fray (headliner) and First to ElevenSaturday, June 13: Hershey Park Stadium, HersheyThe Avett Brothers (headliner)Saturday, June 20: Kirby Park, Wilkes-BarreLady A (headliner) and En Vogue<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Additional supporting artists will be announced later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">If you\u2019d like to attend any of the concerts, officials say to visit <a href=\"https:\/\/america250pa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/america250pa.org\/\">America250PA.org<\/a> and sign up for email alerts, so you know when free tickets are released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cAmerica\u2019s story started right here in our Commonwealth and Pennsylvanians have played a key role in shaping our nation,\u201d Gov.
