BETHLEHEM, Pa. \u2013 A popular, family-run fitness facility \u2013 known for its signature programs practiced in a room heated to 110 degrees \u2013 is leveling up with a larger location in the Lehigh Valley.<\/p>\n

An exact opening date for the new studio has not yet been determined, but it will likely be in early May, according to Ali Trexler, who runs the business with family members.<\/p>\n
Hot Yoga Hut opened in 2014 in the Lehigh Shopping Center, and it will continue to operate there over the next few weeks as preparations are made for its new spot \u2013 located just east of Airport Road near Lehigh Valley International Airport.<\/p>\n
An official opening date for the \u201cnew and improved\u201d location will be made on the business\u2019 Facebook page, Trexler said.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince our lease was up at the shopping center, we thought it was a good time for an upgrade at a new location,\u201d Trexler said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur original space has served us well for over 10 years, and we\u2019re very thankful for our time here, but we\u2019re super pumped to start a new chapter and continue offering our high-quality fitness classes in a brand-new studio.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new, custom-designed studio will feature a state-of-the-art, European-style hot room, blending hot air and humidity, with heat being pumped through specialized blue flame ductwork that stretches across the space.<\/p>\n
The new location also will feature 20 millimeter-thick, free floating, cork underlay floors, along with new lighting and wall-to-wall mirrors.<\/p>\n
New bathrooms and a shower room are also being installed, Trexler said.<\/p>\n

Hot Yoga Hut\u2019s original facility accommodates around 30 students per class, and the new studio will be able to fit at least 35 students, Trexler said.<\/p>\n
The parking situation also will be better at the forthcoming spot, Trexler said.<\/p>\n
At its current location, Hot Yog Hut is situated near a gym, post office and several retail stores, leading to many unavailable parking spots, she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe shopping center is very busy, and the parking can get very tight,\u201d Trexler explained. \u201cBut we\u2019ll have plenty of available, spacious parking spots at our new location.\u201d<\/p>\n
Trexler operates Hot Yoga Hut with her mother, Randi Perrett; husband, Tim Trexler; and brother-in-law, Bill Trexler.<\/p>\n
A team of around 10 instructors lead classes alongside the family members.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re very much a family-run business,\u201d Ali explained. \u201cAnd we consider all of our other instructors to be extended family. A lot of our staff members are close friends who we grew up with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perrett has been practicing all styles of yoga for more than 20 years, receiving her 200 RYT (registered yoga teach \u2013 200-hour level) certification through Lehigh Valley Ashtanga School Teacher Training and later her E-RYT (experienced registered yoga teacher) and YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) certification through Yoga Alliance.<\/p>\n
She also holds a Fitness Instructor Certification through NETA (National Exercise Training Association) and has studied with yoga masters such as Sharath Jois, David Williams, David Swenson, Kino McGregor, Ana Forrest and Dharma Mittra, among others.<\/p>\n
Inspired by Bikram yoga, Perrett created and copyrighted her own hot yoga sequence known as Hot Yoga 40-RP. She describes the program as a physical and internally focused practice.<\/p>\n
Perrett is also an active member of International Association of Yoga Therapists, allowing her to remain current on methods of yoga as therapeutic treatments in western medicine.<\/p>\n

Hot Yoga 40-RP is a 75-minute set sequence consisting of 40 yoga asanas (postures), created and copyrighted by Perrett.<\/p>\n
Consulting with a neurosurgeon, Perrett crafted the 40 poses in a specific order, designed to work systemically through all dimensions of the body.<\/p>\n
