(WHTM) \u2014 U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA) agreed with the action President Donald Trump took in Iran, but he stopped short of endorsing his messaging.<\/p>\n
In particular, an Easter Sunday message<\/a> where the president warned \u201ca whole civilization will die\u201d unless \u201csomething revolutionarily wonderful\u201d occurred.<\/p>\n \u201cPresident Trump has had a history of communicating the way he\u2019s communicating, and so I\u2019m not gonna call balls and strikes on his communication,\u201d McCormick said, noting he would communicate differently from the president.<\/p>\n Six weeks into the conflict, McCormick said the president and the military are achieving their goals to force Iran to give up its uranium stockpile and a path to a nuclear weapon. That\u2019s much further than a Kamala Harris administration would\u2019ve got, he said.<\/p>\n But he said the war is now at a fork in the road. As the United States holds a shaky ceasefire, Iran must decide to sit down for negotiations or continue on a military path.
