With the MLB All-Star Game<\/a>, the FIFA World Cup<\/a>, and America’s 250th birthday celebration<\/a> right around the corner for Philadelphia, Bensalem’s Parxview Hotel<\/a> is open just in time to welcome guests from around the world to the Delaware Valley.<\/p>\n

The former Inn at Fox Chase located near Parx Casino<\/a>, both on Street Road, has been entirely transformed and now features 160 total guest rooms including 16 suites. The nearly 50-year-old building was completely gutted and retrofitted to comply with today’s building standards while aligning with a luxury vision for the space.<\/p>\n

“We are proud to debut the premier hotel experience in the region,” said Parx CEO Eric Hausler. “And we think it will be consistent with what our guests have come to associate with the Parx brand which is the highest quality product, excellent food and amazing guest service.”<\/p>\n

Guests of the hotel can enjoy complimentary on-site parking, a fully-equipped fitness center and a free shuttle service between the hotel and the casino. Guests can also dine at The Bistro at Parxview Hotel which offers elevated casual dining, cocktails and a gathering space within the hotel. Delayed by the winter storms, the hotel’s pool deck is still under construction but is expected to be open by late May, Parx officials said.<\/p>\n

“Obviously, Parx brand standards are our big thing,” said Parx COO John Dixon. “So we wanted to build a four-star hotel that’s fairly luxurious but comfortable and something that people will feel comfortable with the design and not be too over the top \u2014 trying to get that middle ground.”<\/p>\n

The hotel is right next to the bustling 180,000-square-foot casino that is home to thousands of slot machines, live table games, sports betting, thoroughbred horse racing and more.<\/p>\n

Bensalem Mayor Joe DiGirolamo called the new hotel “another gem in Bensalem’s pocket” at the grand opening on Thursday.<\/p>\n

“It’s a great addition to our business community,” he said.<\/p>\n
