CODY BALMER PLED GUILTY TO BREAKING INTO THAT HOME, WHILE GOVERNOR JOSH SHAPIRO AND HIS FAMILY WERE INSIDE. INVESTIGATORS SAY BOMBER USED MOLOTOV COCKTAILS TO SET FIRE TO PART OF THAT HOME. YOU CAN SEE IN THIS VIDEO THE FLAMES. LAST FALL, BALMER WAS SENTENCED TO UP TO 50 YEARS IN PRISON. THE GOVERNOR SPOKE ABOUT THE HEALING PROCESS AT A POLITICAL CONFERENCE LAST WEEK. WHEN I HAD PEOPLE REACHING OUT OF OTHER FAITHS, PRAYING FOR ME AND MY FAMILY THAT ACTUALLY CONNECTED ME IN A DEEPER WAY TO MY OWN FAITH. AND THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THIS ROOM WHO REACHED OUT, YOU REACHED OUT, OTHERS DID. AND, AND I MUST SAY THAT THAT WAS HEALING FOR OUR FAMILY. WE DON\u2019T HAVE THE PHYSICAL SCARS OF POLITICAL VIOLENCE, BUT CERTAINLY IT TOOK AN EMOTIONAL TOLL ON OUR FAMILY. Cody Balmer pleaded guilty to breaking into the home while Gov. Josh Shapiro and his family were inside. <\/p>\n
