A man from Butler, Pa., pleaded guilty Monday to threatening to murder President Donald Trump, other administration officials, and agents for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. <\/p>\n

Judge W. Scott Hardy of the US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania scheduled a sentencing hearing for Shawn Monper, 33, for August. <\/p>\n

Monper\u2019s attorney for the Federal Public Defender\u2019s Office didn\u2019t immediately return a request for comment.<\/p>\n

Monper was arrested in April last year after federal authorities received notice from Google LLC\u2019s YouTube that someone under the account name \u201cMr Satan\u201d made repeated comments about his plans to kill Trump, other agency heads, and Elon Musk, the billionaire who formerly ran Trump\u2019s Department of Government Efficiency. <\/p>\n

He was charged with eight counts in total for \u201cthreatening to assault and murder United States officials and federal law enforcement officers with the intent to impede, intimidate, interfere with, and retaliate against the officials and agents.\u201d<\/p>\n

He first pleaded not guilty after his arraignment last year and has remained in custody since. <\/p>\n

The Monday agreement said Monper pleaded guilty to two counts and will take responsibility for the others. <\/p>\n

The first count on which he pleaded guilty is based on a February 2025 YouTube comment: \u201cNah, we just need to start killing people, Trump, Elon, all the heads of agencies Trump appointed, and anyone who stands in the way\u2026”<\/p>\n

The second statement came in mid-March: \u201cICE are terrorist people, we need to start killing them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The indictment said Monper obtained a firearms permit soon after Trump took office and posted that he had been stockpiling guns and that he will eventually \u201cdo a mass shooting.\u201d <\/p>\n

As part of the plea, Monper will forfeit two pistols and a rifle. <\/p>\n

The case is USA v. Monper<\/a>, W.D.
