An investigation is underway after, officials said, a car was found after it crashed just feet from Swann Memorial Fountain in Logan Square in Center City Philadelphia early Tuesday.<\/p>\n
And, police said, the driver is believed to have fled the scene of a crash.<\/p>\n
Officials said an investigation is underway after a car crashed through a construction area and into Logan Square at around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, near Swann Memorial Fountain, where it struck a port-a-potty.<\/p>\n
Investigators said no one was injured in the crash and the driver was believed to have fled the scene on foot. <\/p>\n
As of about 5 a.m. on Tuesday, investigators were still working at the scene to determine the extent of any damage in Logan Square and the car had been towed from the crash site. <\/p>\n
The iconic fountain should be familiar to many as it appears prominently in the open credits of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. <\/p>\n
An investigation into the incident, officials said, is ongoing. <\/p>\n
