{"id":16542,"date":"2025-10-27T12:36:06","date_gmt":"2025-10-27T12:36:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/16542\/"},"modified":"2025-10-27T12:36:06","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T12:36:06","slug":"suspicious-death-at-bensalem-home-under-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/16542\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspicious Death At Bensalem Home Under Investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 Authorities are investigating a suspicious death after the body of an elderly woman was removed from a township home over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Bensalem Police responded on Saturday to the 5000 block of Hunters Court South for a well-being check, where a woman was found dead inside her home.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was identified as Cynthia Bouffard, 70, of Bensalem, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The Bensalem Township Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney&#8217;s Office are investigating the woman&#8217;s death, which has been deemed suspicious.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said that Bouffard appeared to be emaciated and had been dead for some time in the living room.
