Thunderstorms could produce isolated, damaging winds up to 60 miles an hour. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Have a way to receive any warnings,&#8221; the National Weather Service&#8217;s Mt. Holly, New Jersey branch said. When thunderstorms arrive, residents should move indoors. <\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" id=\"22848544-1776174889\" data-image=\"22848544-1776174889\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Screenshot 2026-04-14 at 7.54.42\u202fAM.png\" data- \/> <\/p>\n<p>All of the five-county region is within the &#8220;marginal risk&#8221; zone for severe thunderstorms, the National Weather Service said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Strong storms may slow travel on highways, cause airport delays and create ripple effects for businesses and commuters,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/en\/severe-weather\/multiday-severe-risk-threatens-central-us-with-winds-tornadoes-and-flooding\/1881557?partner=web_patch_adc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Accuweather<\/a> Meteorologist Elizabeth Danco said.<\/p>\n<p>The tumultuous weather will be bookended by an only briefly interrupted heat wave. High temperatures will hit 87 on Tuesday before the rain begins, and after the storms move out, Wednesday will see the temperatures shoot all the way up to 91, likely breaking numerous all time heat records for April 15. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"22848544-1776175627\" data-image=\"22848544-1776175627\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/HFzsiHiXEAEN-6S.jpg\" data- \/> <\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the full forecast for the greater Philadelphia area over the coming week:<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday<br \/>Sunny, with a high near 87.
