(WIVB) \u2014 Human remains found near Erie, Pa. were identified as that of an Olean woman who went missing in 2024, the Millcreek Township Police Department announced Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police responded on Oct. 24, 2024 after human remains were discovered in Walnut Creek near the Millcreek Mall. No signs of trauma or natural disease were uncovered during an autopsy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Phone interviews were conducted between investigators and people residing in Cattaraugus County, as well as McKean and Potter Counties in Pennsylvania, before DNA samples were given by potential relatives.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The investigation determined that the remains were that of Rebecca L.
