{"id":166090,"date":"2026-04-15T03:46:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T03:46:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/166090\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T03:46:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T03:46:18","slug":"how-to-avoid-parking-scams-at-nfl-draft-in-pittsburgh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/166090\/","title":{"rendered":"How to avoid parking scams at NFL draft in Pittsburgh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pittsburgh Public Safety is warning residents and visitors to be aware of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/pittsburgh\/news\/nfl-draft-parking-cost-how-to-reserve-spot\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-absolute=\"true\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">parking<\/a>\u00a0scams for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/pittsburgh\/live-updates\/2026-nfl-draft-pittsburgh-events-traffic-updates\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-absolute=\"true\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">NFL draft<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a social media post on Tuesday, public safety shared a warning about &#8220;fraudulent parking schemes circulating on social media and third-party platforms.&#8221; Authorities said multiple fraud reports have already been identified.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The general manager of Alco Parking, Ralph Reetz, said he is not surprised.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Unfortunately, the scammers are opportunistic,&#8221; he told KDKA on Tuesday. &#8220;They always have a creative way to come up with this.
