SPRING TWP., Pa. – With high costs, especially at the gas pump, more families are looking for ways to stretch their budget.<\/p>\n

A children’s pop-up in Berks County is stepping in, offering big discounts and drawing in a growing crowd.<\/p>\n

69 News Reporter Sydney Kay was in Spring Township with how the event is helping families save.<\/p>\n

Just Between Friends Reading<\/a>‘s sale offers thousands of children’s items from 50-90 percent the cost of retail value.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex is housing more than half a million children’s items, including clothes, shoes, and toys.<\/p>\n

Lynda Weed with Just Between Friends said people from the community take items that their children have grown out of to sell at the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A portion of the sales goes back to the sellers.<\/p>\n

More than 7,000 people are expected to go to the sale.<\/p>\n

A presale event is being held Wednesday. People can get tickets at reading.jbfsale.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event will be open to the public Thursday through Sunday. The price is $3 at the door.
