ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A man who sexually assaulted a woman and filmed part of the incident learned his sentence Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Judge Robert L. Steinberg sentenced Lorens Dejesus Gomez, 24, to serve 10 to 23 months in Lehigh County Jail, in addition to three years of probation, according to a news release from the Lehigh County District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
The DA\u2019s office said Gomez will also be required to register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life.<\/p>\n
The DA said Gomez, of Allentown, was convicted by a jury of Invasion of Privacy \u2013 view, photograph, etc. person without consent.<\/p>\n
The jury could not come to an agreement on a charge of Rape, the DA\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n
As part of an agreement, Gomez pleaded guilty Wednesday to Sexual Assault, according to the DA\u2019s office.<\/p>\n
The DA\u2019s office said the agreement was reached to avoid the necessity and to spare the victim from going through a second trial and with the victim\u2019s approval.<\/p>\n
On April 25, 2024, the victim met Gomez through a dating app and agreed to meet him at his home to braid his hair, according to the news release.<\/p>\n
The DA\u2019s office said she told Gomez several times she did not want to have sex.<\/p>\n
Gomez sexually assaulted the victim at his home and also recorded part of the incident without her knowledge or consent, according to the news release.<\/p>\n
