This week will be the ideal time to see foliage in the Lehigh Valley, according to experts.<\/p>\n
Foliage in Lehigh and Northampton counties, as well as neighboring Bucks, Berks and Montgomery counties, will be peaking this week<\/a>, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources said in its weekly report.<\/p>\n Foresters said all southeastern Pennsylvania counties are full of \u201cbeautiful fall color,\u201d with peak conditions prevailing. It can be seen everywhere in the district, the report stated.<\/p>\n North of the Lehigh Valley, in the Poconos, foliage is past peak, according to the DCNR. Still, foresters said good color could be seen along Route 209 in Monroe County, as well as on\u00a0 Blue Mountain.<\/p>\n The Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau said in its weekly report that sassafras trees are putting on a \u201cvibrant show\u201d of crimson hues across Monroe and Carbon counties. Both are past peak color.
