It was a full class of freshmen through seniors as our Eva Mastromatteo came to talk and work with students in Erie News Now Executive Producer, Brianna Carle\u2019s, Digital Media Production class at Mercyhurst University. With a class full of varying interests from writing to editing to being in front of the camera, Eva was able to provide examples and advice for interviewing techniques, building an on-camera presence when new in the industry, gaining experience, working as team in creating stories, and having the courage to ask hard questions.<\/p>\n
Eva is not just a “talent behind the desk,” she is active in our community and is always looking for “the story within the story.” She talked about some of her feature stories, work as an investigative reporter, the Giving You the Business weekly segment, and some continuing coverage that pulls at the heart strings.\u00a0<\/p>\n
