Easton Police\u2019s newest collective bargaining agreement<\/a> and a mention of its new salaries, City Business Administrator Eric Evans said officials are \u201cvery aware of that contract, what that looks like.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019ll be part of a very large, complicated negotiation that will take probably most of the year to get through,\u201d Evans said.<\/p>\n
Asked after the Tuesday meeting about his outlook on negotiations, Nichelson said: “We think it’s simple, that we need to compete with our neighbors.”<\/p>\n

Allentown\u2019s initial patrol officer salary appears to be about $70,000.<\/p>\n
