Although many trees still haven\u2019t lost all of their leaves, this year\u2019s curbside leaf collection has begun in Hellertown.<\/p>\n
The seven-week effort began Monday with leaf pickup along Maple Road, Willow Road, Elm Road and Beech Circle in the Mountainview section of town.<\/p>\n
The complete 2025 schedule, as indicated by the borough, is listed below.<\/p>\n
Per the borough, leaves should be raked into the gutters of streets prior to the scheduled pickup day. In an effort to prevent damage to equipment, tree branches, shrubbery and trash will not be picked up with the borough\u2019s leaf collection machine.<\/p>\n
Residents are asked to use off-street parking on the day of their scheduled collection and are advised that the schedule is subject to change.<\/p>\n
Pursuant to Pennsylvania recycling law, leaves are no longer picked up with regular garbage due to the fact that they are not accepted at the landfill. Leaf composting is allowed and residents are encouraged to use leaves in their back yard composting.<\/p>\n
