NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. – A local fundraiser this weekend will benefit a Berks fire company, after its chief and assistant chief<\/a> were killed in a crash.<\/p>\n

The Lynnport Community Fire Co. No. 1<\/a> says it is teaming up with new Tripoli fire crews for an all-you-can eat breakfast Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 7164 Behler Road.<\/p>\n

The proceeds will go directly to Walnuttown Fire and Rescue<\/a> in Fleetwood.<\/p>\n

The pricing for the event is below:<\/p>\n

Adult-$15<\/p>\n

Child(6-7)- $9<\/p>\n

Child (2-5)-$7<\/p>\n

Take out- $18<\/p>\n

First Responders w\/ID-$9<\/p>\n

Walnuttown Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Robert Shick were killed while on a missing person search.<\/p>\n

Berks County District Attorney John Adams says Walnuttown Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Robert Shick were in a UTV on the side of the roadway when a car swerved, hitting them head on.<\/p>\n

Adams says both the driver and passenger of that car fled the scene but then were apprehended.<\/p>\n
