NEXT WEEK, PITTSBURGH STEPS ONTO THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE AS THE 2020 NFL DRAFT BEGINS. WHILE THE FULL ECONOMIC IMPACT REMAINS TO BE SEEN, THE OPPORTUNITY IS CLEAR FOR A CITY STILL EVOLVING. DRAFT WEEK IS A CHANCE TO SHOWCASE PITTSBURGH\u2019S MODERN IDENTITY. ITS TECH GROWTH, CULTURAL ENERGY, AND REVITALIZE DOWNTOWN. BUT THIS MOMENT ALSO BRINGS CHALLENGES, INFRASTRUCTURE, PUBLIC SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION WILL BE TESTED. PLANNING AND COMMUNICATION HAVE BEEN STRONG. NOW EXECUTION HAS TO MATCH. IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING DOWNTOWN EVENTS, BE SMART. FOLLOW GUIDANCE FROM LOCAL OFFICIALS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT. AND IF YOU ARE CELEBRATING AWAY FROM HOME, USE A DESIGNATED DRIVER OR RIDESHARE. IF YOU\u2019RE STAYING AT HOME, WTAE WILL HAVE THE MOST EXTENSIVE DRAFT COVERAGE ALL WEEK, INCLUDING DRAFT SPECIALS FROM 7 TO 8 P.M.
