The Philadelphia Fed\u2019s Banking Outlook Summit took place on April 9, 2026, drawing bankers from the region for a day of information sharing and discussions about how banks can position themselves for changes affecting the industry.<\/p>\n

The event brought together bank supervisors and industry leaders from the Third District<\/a>, which covers Delaware, southern New Jersey, and eastern and central Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

The program explored issues facing banks today \u2014 from evolving supervisory approaches to fraud threats to stablecoin legislation. A panel of banking leaders shared their perspectives with peers from District institutions ranging from large regional banks to small savings banks.<\/p>\n

A summit highlight was the fireside chat between Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle W. Bowman<\/a> and Philadelphia Fed President and CEO Anna Paulson<\/a>, who discussed the evolving environment for community banks, the benefits of the newly proposed U.S. capital framework, and recent supervisory reforms.<\/p>\n

A panel of regional banking leaders shared their reflections on regulatory topics, how recent regulatory changes are impacting their institutions, and their use of artificial intelligence.
