New York State Police say a Pennsylvania man was arrested Tuesday after leading police on a chase back into Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
According to police, around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, troopers saw a Hyundai following a vehicle too close on Interstate 81. The same vehicle then twice failed to stop at a stop sign, once at the bottom of the Exit 1 off ramp near State Route 11, and then again at the intersection of Conklin-Kirkwood Bridge.<\/p>\n
A traffic stop was attempted, but the driver took off at a high rate of speed, making more vehicle and traffic infractions while going down several roads, before heading back into Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
State Police from both New York and Pennsylvania worked together to locate the vehicle and driver, who was identified as 28-year-old Austin L. Darrow of New Milford, PA.<\/p>\n
