PHILADELPHIA \u2013 The College Squash Association has announced its annual All-American teams for the 2025-26 season. The University of Pennsylvania squash teams had seven athletes recognized, with five named to the first team and two to the second team. #FightOnPenn<\/p>\n \u00a0

\nWith four players named to the women’s All-American list, the Howe Cup national champions have attained the most All-Americans since the 2013-14 season when they had five. On the men’s side, Omar Hafez<\/a> and Salman Khalil<\/a> have now been named first team All-Americans for the third consecutive season.
\n\u00a0
\nOmar Hafez<\/a> adds another accolade to an incredible senior season for the Red and Blue, finishing the year as the all-time wins leader with 71 victories, Ivy League Player of the Year distinction and a Pool Trophy winner. Hafez is joined by teammates Salman Khalil<\/a> and Marwan Abdelsalam<\/a> as first team All-Americans.

\nKhalil followed up a stellar sophomore season, finishing his junior season with a 17-2 overall record, going 6-0 in Ivy League play. He also reached the quarterfinals of the CSA Individual Championship and has now totaled 46 wins in his career with Penn.
\n\u00a0
\nAbdelsalam followed his fantastic freshman season with a 14-5 overall record, most of his wins coming from the third spot in the lineup. He was also named to the All-Tournament team of the inaugural Ivy League tournament as he helped the Quakers capture the title.

\nThe national championship women’s team was well represented on the list as Malak Khafagy<\/a> and Franka Vidovic<\/a> were named to the first team, and Sohaila Ismail<\/a> and Malak Taha<\/a> were named to the second team. Khafagy and Vidovic were also named first team All-Ivy, Ismail and Taha garnered second team honors.

\nThis is Khafagy’s second first team All-American honor, and third second team distinction for Ismail. Vidovic and Taha have now been named All-Americans for the second time of their careers.
\n\u00a0
\nKhafagy finished the season with 15 wins, all coming at the top spot of the lineup. She was named Ivy League Player of the Year after going undefeated in conference play and ultimately leading Penn to a Howe Cup national championship.
\n\u00a0
\nVidovic was named a first team All-American for the first time in her career, getting a second team nod last season. She finished the year with a 15-5 overall record and reached the quarterfinals of the CSA Individual Championships.

\nIsmail was outstanding for the Quakers this season, leading the team with 16 wins and an undefeated record in team competition. She was also named second team All-Ivy after going 5-0 in conference play.

\nFinally, Taha also finished her season with 15 wins, including going 3-0 in the CSA Team Championships as she was a crucial piece to Penn’s championship run. She was also named second team All-Ivy after going 5-1 in the conference.
