Scranton’s ‘Earth Day Pop-Up Market’ at the Marketplace at Steamtown showcased plant-based foods, upcycled art, and a seed swap.<\/p>\n

SCRANTON, Pa. \u2014 The Scranton public market hosting its ‘Earth Day Pop-Up Market’ at the Marketplace at Steamtown in Scranton<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The eco-friendly event featured plant-based food, work from upcycled artists and a ‘seed swap’ where attendees were able to exchange and trade various types of plants and produce.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It was amazing. There were so many people that traveled from far and wide to come here again to just sample maybe something that’s not available on a regular day to day basis. And there was a lot of different vendors that came to specifically promote a healthy living and supporting the Earth. So how could you go wrong,” said Maura Cummings from Throop Soups.<\/p>\n
