The Freeze Warning is for counties north and east of Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNOW, OF COURSE, ALL EYES ARE GOING TO BE ON THE DRAFT LATER ON THIS WEEK. AND OF COURSE, PEOPLE WONDERING WHAT THE WEATHER IS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE. AND IT LOOKS PRETTY NICE AS WE GET CLOSER TO THURSDAY. FRIDAY IN PARTICULAR. BUT OBVIOUSLY THIS MORNING WAKING UP A LITTLE DREARY COMING OFF OF YESTERDAY\u2019S ROUND OF RAIN THROUGH THE AFTERNOON, WE HAVE OPENED THE DOOR TO A MUCH COOLER SETUP. IT\u2019S NOT GOING TO FEEL LIKE SUMMER OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. IN FACT, BACK PEDALING WITH TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY BE IN THE 40S AND 50S FOR US TODAY AS WE TAKE A LIVE LOOK OVER THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH, PITTSBURGH WITH ACTION CAM, YOU SEE THAT DREARY SCENE? LIGHT RAIN CONTINUES TO FALL ACROSS A GOOD PORTION OF THE AREA, TEMPERATURES SLOWLY WORKING THROUGH THE 40S HERE THIS MORNING WILL LAND CLOSER TO 50 FOR A HIGH TEMPERATURE, AS WINDS WILL ALSO KICK UP THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. EVENTUALLY TONIGHT, TEMPERATURES GET COLD ENOUGH, ESPECIALLY NORTH AND EAST OF PITTSBURGH FOR FROST AND EVEN SOME FREEZING TEMPERATURES TO SHOW UP. SO A FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FOR ALL THOSE AREAS SHADED IN PURPLE. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE ALLEGHENY COUNTY, AT LEAST TONIGHT. BUT WE COULD SEE YET ANOTHER GO AROUND MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY. AND AGAIN, WE LOOK WARM AND DRY JUST AS DRAFT WEEKEND GETS UNDERWAY. LOOKING AHEAD TO THURSDAY RIGHT NOW ON THE RADAR, SOME POCKETS OF MODERATE RAIN SHOWING UP. SOUTHERN PARTS OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY FROM BETHEL PARK OVER TOWARDS ELIZABETH WHITE OAK. YOU\u2019RE SEEING A DECENT LITTLE SHOWER RIGHT NOW THAT CONTINUES TO MOVE CLOSER TO NORTH HUNTINGTON ALONG ROUTE 30. EVEN MARYSVILLE AND OROVILLE AREAS, YOU\u2019RE SEEING MORE OF THAT MODERATE RAIN THAT ALSO CONTINUES BACK TOWARDS WASHINGTON AND BENTLEYVILLE WORKING ALONG I-70 AT THIS POINT. BUT AS WE WIDEN OUT THE VIEW, THINGS ARE A BIT DRIER THROUGH PARTS OF BUTLER, LAWRENCE AND ALSO BEAVER COUNTIES. WE WILL SEE THE BACK EDGE OF THE STEADY RAIN STARTING TO WORK THROUGH HERE OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. IN FACT, BY ABOUT SEVEN 8:00, MOST OF US ARE DRY. LAST LITTLE BIT OF THE AREA. WIDE RAIN. STILL WORKING THROUGH THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS. WE WILL BREAK OUT INTO SOME SUNSHINE AROUND MIDDAY. CLOUDS WILL RETURN AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS. THAT ALSO COULD LEAD TO A FEW SPOTTY SHOWERS INTO THIS EVENING. EVEN MIXED IN TEMPERATURES COULD BE COLD ENOUGH AS WE GET CLOSER TO MIDNIGHT FOR A FEW SNOWFLAKES TO SHOW UP. THAT WILL BE CLOSER TO I-80. AND OF COURSE, THOSE NUMBERS WILL CONTINUE TO FALL AS WE GO THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT. SO ONLY 53 FOR A HIGH TEMPERATURE. WE STAY ON THE CHILLY SIDE TOMORROW, NOT EVEN MAKING IT OUT OF THE 40S, BUT THEN THE REST OF YOUR 4-DAY PLUS 4 MORE FORECAST, YOU KNOW, THOSE TEMPERATURES ARE CLIMBING. WE\u2019RE BACK INTO THE 70S JUST IN TIME FOR THE START OF THE NFL DRAFT. COULD DODGE A FEW SHOWERS, THOUGH, AS WE LOOK AHEAD TO SATURDAY. MORE ON THAT HERE IN JUST A SECOND AS WE GO THROUGH THE DAY TOMORROW. COMING OFF OF THAT FROSTY START, TEMPERATURES WILL BE SLOW TO WARM DESPITE ALL THE SUNSHINE. MOST OF US WILL BE STUCK IN THE 40S MONDAY. BUT THEN THAT\u2019S IT FOR THE CHILL AT LEAST COMING OFF OF THE MORNING HOURS ON TUESDAY, WE CAN EXPECT MORE AREA WIDE FREEZING TEMPERATURES. MORE THAN LIKELY, WE\u2019LL SEE THAT FREEZE WARNING EXTENDED AREA WIDE. AND THAT\u2019S WHY WE ALWAYS USE THE JANADOE RULE TO SAY DON\u2019T PLAY IT UNTIL MOTHER\u2019S DAY, AS WE CAN STILL GET THOSE COLD TEMPERATURES TO SNEAK IN EVEN THROUGH THE END OF APRIL. IN YOUR FOUR DAY FORECAST, WE DO HAVE A FEW MORE SHOWERS WILL BE ARRIVING ON WEDNESDAY WITH A QUICK HITTING COLD FRONT. LOOKS LIKE THE TIMING WILL BE THROUGH THE NIGHT TUESDAY INTO THE FIRST HALF OF WEDNESDAY. GOOD FOR US AS WE GET A LOT OF THESE SHOWERS OUT OF HERE IN TIME FOR THE START OF THE NFL DRAFT ON THURSDAY.
