(WBRE\/WYOU) The Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Scranton will be the focus of Newsmakers.\u00a0 Host Jayne Ann Bugda will have as her guests Mark A. DiPippa, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton, and local artist Austin Burke.<\/p>\n

They will discuss the mission of the Catholic Foundation and the group\u2019s Art Auction, featuring paintings of area churches by Austin Burke.<\/p>\n

DiPippa and Burke will talk about the churches featured in the auction and how this fundraiser will help several programs in the diocese.<\/p>\n

The mission of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton<\/a> is to sustain and nurture the pastoral, educational, and service ministries of THE Diocese of Scranton<\/p>\n

The Catholic Foundation, founded in September 2023, was established as an opportunity for faith-based giving to help build endowment funds to secure the mission of the Diocese now and in the future.<\/p>\n
