SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – Police in Salisbury Township say somebody intentionally set a vehicle on fire over the weekend, and they are asking for the public\u2019s help.<\/p>\n
Officers from the Salisbury Township Police Department and fire crews responded to the 1200 block of Marlow Street for a report of a vehicle fire on Saturday at approximately 11:30 p.m., according to a Facebook post from township police.<\/p>\n
Personnel quickly extinguished the fire, police said.<\/p>\n
During the subsequent investigation, officers determined that the unattended vehicle had been intentionally set on fire based on evidence discovered at the scene, according to the post.<\/p>\n
The Salisbury Township Police Department is asking for assistance from the public. Anyone with information about the incident, or anyone who may have home security footage capturing an individual on foot in the area between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., is asked to call the department at 610-437-5252.<\/p>\n
Anonymous tips may also be submitted through the Crime Tip Hotline at 610-402-2400.<\/p>\n
