ALSACE TWP., Pa. – An Alsace Township man has died after being struck by a falling tree branch.<\/p>\n
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday at a house in the 000 block of Wanshop Road, Alsace Twp.<\/p>\n
The man, identified as 76-year-old Sherwood Brubaker, was in the process cutting down a tree when a branch broke off near the top and struck him, officials say.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Brubaker was pronounced dead at Reading Hospital about an hour later.<\/p>\n
