{"id":171165,"date":"2026-04-20T21:06:11","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T21:06:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/171165\/"},"modified":"2026-04-20T21:06:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T21:06:11","slug":"allentown-man-arrested-in-2025-catasauqua-homicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/171165\/","title":{"rendered":"Allentown man arrested in 2025 Catasauqua homicide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Allentown man accused of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcall.com\/2026\/03\/20\/lehigh-county-man-wanted-catasauqua-fatal-shooting-quick-draw\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fatally shooting another man during a game of \u201cquick draw\u201d in November in a Catasauqua home<\/a> surrendered to police Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Samuel Rolando Colon, 25, of Allentown is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and several counts of recklessly endangering another person. He was sent to Lehigh County Jail without bail.<\/p>\n<p>Colon is charged in the Nov. 8 death of Ti\u2019Shaun Singleton, 19, at a home in the 200 block of Edward Lane in Catasauqua. According to the Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan, Catasauqua police and emergency medical personnel were called to the home at 4:37 p.m. for reports of a shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Singleton, of Allentown, was found dead from a gunshot wound to the chest.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators looked at security video from nearby properties that showed two people dragging Singleton outside and then running from the home. One person later carried him back inside, the footage showed.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses told police that Singleton and Colon were playing a game they named \u201cquick draw\u201d and both were armed with guns.
