We have Steelers Country, so they’re going to have lots of activations, lots of player appearances, Steelers legends,\u201d said Nicki Ewell, vice president of global events for the NFL.The event was moved to Point State Park after organizers ran out of space on the North Shore, highlighting the scale of the festivities planned for the three days. \u201cAmazing progress here. We can’t wait to open our doors Thursday at noon,\u201d said Ewell.While admission to the event is free, local concessions and retail purchases will be available for a cost.\u201cWe have an amazing array of local concessions. All of the vendors here are local. They keep 100% of their revenue,\u201d said Ewell.The food vendors include The Roaming Bean, Patti\u2019s Pastries, Secretos de Mis Abuelos, Street Fries, Vitalia Wood Fired Oven, Live Fresh Juicery, Remo\u2019s Catering and P\u2019s Bird Wagon. \u201cGreat opportunity to showcase amazing Pittsburgh fare to those that are local and those that are going to be coming in from all over the country,\u201d Ewell said. Fans can also enjoy a red carpet experience, which will feature NFL draft prospects.\u201cWe\u2019ll have our prospects here about 4 o\u2019clock on Thursday. I think we\u2019re up to 17 now that are on site here with us,\u201d Ewell said.The red carpet will remain available for photo opportunities throughout the event until Saturday.
