The Lower Moreland Police Department addressed today the prevalence of young children and teens who are engaging in a \u201cdoor kick\u201d TikTok trend.<\/p>\n
According to their announcement, \u201cpranksters approach the front door of people\u2019s homes and kick it as hard as they can before fleeing the property.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cWe urge parents to speak with your children about the dangers and consequences of participating in this harmful prank,\u201d Lower Moreland police said. \u201cIt would be devastating if a seemingly innocent prank escalated into a physical confrontation or violent incident involving a property owner and youths.\u201d<\/p>\n
In July 2025<\/a>, Abington\u00a0police shared a Community Alert regarding the trend. Officials said the TikTok videos show teenagers and children \u201cpounding on or violently kicking doors, often late at night, pretending to break in, before running away.
