Fundraising event: Valley Community Library annual Books App\u00e9tit fundraising event, May 7, 6-9 p.m., 739 River St., Peckville. Enjoy a fun night at the library with local food, beer, wine, raffle baskets and live music by the Wanabees. This event is for individuals 21 and older. Tickets cost $35\/person in advance or $40 at the door. All proceeds from Books App\u00e9tit benefit the Valley Community Library. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online or in person at the library.<\/p>\n

Dinner includes pasta, meatballs, salad, roll and dessert. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased that day. Quart containers of sauce ($8) or sauce and meatballs ($12) are also available.<\/p>\n
