RICHLAND TWP., Pa. – A popular discount retailer is continuing to expand its footprint in the region.<\/p>\n

A new location of Burlington, a national discount retailer offering low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home, is expected to open in the spring at 654 N. West End Blvd. in Richland Township, Bucks County, according to a company spokesperson.<\/p>\n

The new Quakertown area location will occupy a Richland Marketplace space that previously housed a Staples store, which closed last month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Richland Marketplace is located at the corner of Route 309 and Pumping Station Road in Richland Township, Bucks County.<\/p>\n

Burlington Stores, Inc., headquartered in New Jersey, is a nationally recognized off-price retailer with fiscal 2024 net sales of $10.6 billion.<\/p>\n

The company operates more than 1,138 stores in 46 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, principally under the name Burlington Stores.<\/p>\n

Another regional Burlington store opened Sept. 19 at 1015 N. Main St. in Warrington Township, Bucks County, and the chain\u2019s fourth Lehigh Valley location is set to open 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1<\/a>, at the South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., Salisbury Township.<\/p>\n

The new locations feature Burlington\u2019s reimagined store layout and new store logo, \u201cDeals. Brands. WOW!\u201d<\/p>\n

These updates are part of Burlington\u2019s broader initiative to elevate the in-store shopping experience.<\/p>\n

All new Burlington stores open in the refreshed format, featuring thoughtfully organized aisles and bold signage making it easier to navigate the store and “get inspiration for the latest must-have trends,” according to a recent news release.<\/p>\n

While approximately half of the brand\u2019s existing locations have already been converted, the remaining stores are expected to transition to the new format by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n

Burlington stores offer an extensive selection of in-season, high-quality branded merchandise at up to 60% off other retailers’ prices.<\/p>\n

Customers can shop fashion-focused women\u2019s apparel, menswear, youth apparel, baby items, footwear, accessories, beauty and fragrance essentials, home decor, seasonal items, toys, gifts, coats and pet items.\u202f<\/p>\n

At the Richland Marketplace, the new Burlington store is joining a diverse lineup of more than 20 tenants.<\/p>\n

The shopping center, at the corner of Route 309 and Pumping Station Road, is home to other well-known chains such as Best Buy, PetSmart and Planet Fitness; and food and dining spots such as Frank\u2019s Trattoria Italian Restaurant and the newly opened Little Orchids Kitchen & Bar and Playa Bowls shop.<\/p>\n
