Reading Hospital has been recognized by two national publications for providing high-quality patient care.<\/p>\n
The West Reading hospital was recently named to Forbes\u2018 \u201cTop Hospitals\u201d list and Newsweek\u2018s \u201cWorlds Best Hospitals\u201d list. It is the fourth consecutive year Reading Hospital was included on the Newsweek list.<\/p>\n
Dr. Charles Barbera, hospital president and CEO, credited the dedicated staff for delivering expert, compassionate and innovative care to patients every day.<\/p>\n

Forbes\u2019 ranking uses a unique, equity-focused approach that measures overall quality with an emphasis on patient outcomes while accounting for differences in hospital locations and patient populations.<\/p>\n
Similarly, Newsweek and Statista awarded the best hospitals based on four data sources: recommendations from medical experts, results from patient surveys, hospital quality metrics and Statista PROMs implementation survey.
