Local businesses in our area are beginning to feel the strain of ongoing political and economic tensions, both domestically and abroad.<\/p>\n
Maurice McClure, owner of McClure\u2019s Fish House & More in Meadville, wrote on Facebook how frustrated he is with political issues beyond his control that are now affecting prices relating to the business.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust a bit ago before all these tariffs and now war. I was paying $50 for a case of Haddock. Now today it’s $97\u2026 so i have to raise prices some in the coming weeks or just walk away with my head high and never look back,\u201d McClure wrote.<\/p>\n
McClure told Erie News Now that he is not going anywhere and remains committed to serving the community.<\/p>\n
