Mark Gillen of Berks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Ohio man charged with leaving a threatening voicemail for state Rep. Mark Gillen has been released on $50,000 bail pending further court action in Berks County Court, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<p>Kenneth Yochum, 58, of Hamilton County was held for court following a preliminary hearing Monday before District Judge David Yoch. Yochum faces charges of making terroristic threats, threatening unlawful harm to influence official and political matters, and harassment.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents:<\/p>\n<p>The voicemail left by a male caller on the morning of Dec. 17 stated \u201c\u2026if Pennsylvania thinks they\u2019re going to come after our guns, the \u2026 blood will roll. You get it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A staff member for Gillen, a Robeson Township Republican who has represented parts of Berks County for 15 years, reported the threat to Cumru Township police after the voicemail was left at Gillen\u2019s district office.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives were able to obtain phone records tracing the call to Yochum.<\/p>\n<p>On Dec. 20, police officers in Ohio interviewed Yochum at his residence and he admitted leaving the threatening voicemail.<\/p>\n<p>Yochum was formally charged by Cumru Township police three days later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An Ohio man charged with leaving a threatening voicemail for state Rep.
