A PORTION OF I-81 HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR SEVERAL HOURS NOW FOLLOWING A CRASH INVOLVING THREE TRACTOR TRAILERS. YOU CAN SEE HERE THIS TRACTOR TRAILER. BUT IF WE SHOW YOU FURTHER DOWN HERE, I-81, THAT IS A SECOND TRACTOR TRAILER FULL OF MAIL. THE HIGHWAY. NOW, PENNDOT SAYS THERE WERE THREE TRACTOR TRAILERS INVOLVED. WE\u2019VE ONLY SEEN TWO. THE FIRST ONE WITH MAIL INSIDE. AS YOU CAN SEE RIGHT THERE, AS CREWS WORK TO CLEAN UP THE SECOND ONE WITH RAW CHICKEN INSIDE. NOW, THE CRASH STARTED AT EXIT 29, BUT THE CLOSURE STARTS AT EXIT 24. KING STREET IS BACKED UP CLOSE TO SHIPPENSBURG AND THERE ARE NO INJURIES REPORTED AT THIS TIME. NOW, I-81 SOUTHBOUND IS NOT IMPACTED AT ALL, BUT I-81 NORTHBOUND CLOSED. AND RIGHT NOW ON THE MAP, YOU CAN SEE HOW FAR THAT SLOWED DOWN HAS STRETCHED INTO FRANKLIN COUNTY. AGAIN, THIS CRASH HAPPENED NEAR MILE MARKER 28 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY. AND THE CLOSURE STARTS AT EXIT 24 IN FRANKLIN COUNTY. LIKE GABRIELLE MENTIONED. BUT RIGHT NOW THAT SLOWED DOWN ALL THE WAY THROUGH CHAMBERSBURG ON INTERSTATE 81 NORTHBOUND AND GIVING YOU A LOOK RIGHT NOW AT. ALSO ROUTE 696, BOTH LANES VERY SLOW. SLOW THIS MORNING. AND OF COURSE, NOTHING HAS REALLY CHANGED FROM THIS VANTAGE POINT ON 81 NORTHBOUND. KEEP YOU UPDATED ON THIS. GOOD MORNING. YOU CAN SEE LIVE IN HERSHEY. WE HAVE CLOUDY SKIES TO START. THERE ARE SOME SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY AS A WARM FRONT LIFTS OFF TO THE NORTHEAST, AND THE COLD FRONT MOVES IN FROM WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA.
