A musician from Philadelphia was found dead in his California home this week, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. <\/p>\n
Gregg Foreman, 53, was found in his Los Angeles home by first responders with the fire department on Tuesday, April 21 around Noon, officials explained. <\/p>\n
Firefighters pronounced Foreman dead, officials said. <\/p>\n
“He was the light and love and everything,” Foreman’s sister Abbe told NBC4 Los Angeles. “Everywhere he went, he brought love and light, and he was so talented.”<\/p>\n
Foreman rose to fame as the founder and front man for the band The Delta 72. <\/p>\n
He is also credited with working on Kat Von D’s debut LP in 2020, “Love Made Me Do It” as well as her 2024 album.<\/p>\n
Foreman was also the musical director of the band Cat Power as well as a member of the bands Pink Mountaintops, the Meek, the Black Ryder and the Gossip.<\/p>\n
In addition to being a musician, Foreman was also a freelance writer for the Philadelphia City Paper in the mid-90s and worked as a DJ in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
He was born in Philadelphia and raised in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Foreman went to Conestoga High School. <\/p>\n
