The effort also\u00a0drew\u00a0in\u00a0local leaders, including City Council\u00a0member Rue Landau, who emphasized the broader impact of community cleanups.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cCleaner neighborhoods reduce crime,\u201d Landau said. \u201cIt\u2019s better for the\u00a0environment;\u00a0it\u2019s better for all of us.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Across the city, neighbors worked side by side, clearing trash and revitalizing shared spaces, acting as\u00a0a reminder of the power of collective action.\u00a0<\/p>\n
