ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Pinebrook Family Answers is celebrating National Foster Care Month with a free community block party.<\/p>\n
The event will be held Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pinebrook’s 402 North Fulton Street campus in Allentown.<\/p>\n
Families, neighbors, and community members are invited to enjoy an afternoon of food, music, activities, face painting, balloon animals, and opportunities to learn more about foster parenting, adoption, and available local resources.<\/p>\n
May marks National Foster Care Month, which officials say is a time to honor foster parents, mentors, volunteers, child welfare professionals, and policymakers who help children and youth find stability, permanency, and hope.<\/p>\n
