READING, Pa. \u2013 This Earth Day, the region got low marks from the American Lung Association when it comes to air quality.<\/p>\n

The group released its 27th “State of the Air” report<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The report says the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden region gets straight F’s for ozone smog and fine particle pollution.<\/p>\n

The assessment says the daily measures of fine particle pollution and ozone smog both improved slightly, but the year-round average of particles worsened compared to last year.<\/p>\n

The annual report includes recommendations for actions that both policymakers and individual people can take to improve air quality.<\/p>\n
