Mary \u201cMarie\u201d Oplinger, 94, of Fellowship Community, Whitehall, passed away on April 21, 2026 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Oplinger. Marie was the church secretary at Boulevard Evangelical Congregational Church, known now as Christ E.C. Church, Allentown for 33 years until retiring. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Christine (D\u2019Arconte) Mazziotta. She was a 1949 graduate of Allentown High School. Marie was a long-time member of Christ E.C. Church, Allentown.<\/p>\n
\nSurvivors: Sons: Dale R. Oplinger and his wife Fran of Walnutport and Gary W. Oplinger and his wife Jane of Nazareth, Daughter-In-Law: Philomena Oplinger of Allentown, Sister: Ernestine Seyfried of Whitehall, 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a Son: Brian L. Oplinger and a Sister: Florinda Bolton.<\/p>\n
\nA funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 11 A.M. at the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Monday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the funeral home.
