SLB&#8217;s summer camps are the place to build skills."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Summer session at SLB Radio\u2019s Youth Media Center are filling up, but there are still spots available. And need-based full and partial scholarships are still available, too.<\/p>\n<p>For middle schoolers and and high schoolers who want to share their voices with the world, <a href=\"https:\/\/slbradio.org\/camps2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">summer camps at the Youth Media Center<\/a> are a valuable launch pad. Camp themes for 2026 include podcasting, songwriting and the launch of a new, audio-first literary magazine. Students can learn new skills, make friends and be heard.<\/p>\n<p>For students who want to check out the Youth Media Center before summer begins, there are plenty of drop-in programs happening during the month of May. New teens are always welcome and all activities are free. (You\u2019ll find SLB\u2019s studio inside the Children\u2019s Museum on Pittsburgh\u2019s Northside.)<\/p>\n<p>Look for upcoming events at <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/slbradio.org\/ymcstudenthub\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">SLB\u2019s Student Hub<\/a>.
