ArtsQuest, in partnership with the City of Allentown, has announced the return of \u201cArtsQuest\u2019s Friday Concerts at Union Terrace Amphitheater, presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health,\u201d for a second consecutive summer season.<\/p>\n
Following a successful inaugural year, the free, family-friendly concert series returns to the historic Union Terrace Amphitheater with an expanded and diverse lineup designed to bring the community together through live music, culture and shared experiences in Allentown.<\/p>\n
Concerts are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have been eager and excited to return to Union Terrace since the moment the last notes ended in September. To be able to build on the momentum of last year and bring this series back to Union Terrace for a second summer presents an opportunity for growth of the festivities,\u201d said Patrick Brogan, Chief Programming Officer at ArtsQuest.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe partnership with the City of Allentown continues to grow into something very special, creating access to live music, celebrating local, regional and nationally-touring talent and giving people a place to come together and connect through the shared experience of music under the night sky,\u201d Brogan said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur city is committed to creating vibrant and welcoming spaces where people can come together and connect,\u201d said Mayor Matt Tuerk. \u201cThis series brings great energy to Union Terrace and gives our community yet another free, easy way to enjoy live music all summer long.\u201d<\/p>\n
