{"id":174736,"date":"2026-04-24T10:05:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-24T10:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/174736\/"},"modified":"2026-04-24T10:05:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T10:05:07","slug":"aclu-of-pa-sues-ice-over-subpoenas-of-montco-residents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/174736\/","title":{"rendered":"ACLU of Pa. sues ICE over subpoenas of Montco residents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From Delco to Chesco and Montco to Bucks, what about life in Philly\u2019s suburbs do you want WHYY News to cover? <a href=\"#Section1\">Let us know!<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>The American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania <a href=\"http:\/\/aclupa.org\/cases\/foia-request-regarding-dhs-unmasking-subpoenas\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is suing<\/a> U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, seeking information about the federal agency\u2019s use of administrative subpoenas to intimidate and \u201cunmask\u201d Montgomery County residents who criticize and monitor federal immigration enforcement activities.\n<\/p>\n<p>The organization filed a request under the Freedom of Information Act in February, asking ICE to share relevant memos and records related to the \u201cunmasking\u201d subpoenas from 2024 to present.
