Police are investigating after a vehicle fled the scene of a crash in Philly’s Germantown section that left a man in critical condition, officials said. <\/p>\n
According to police, at about 2:20 a.m. on Friday, a man was struck mid-block along the 4300 block of Germantown Avenue by a vehicle that then fled the scene of the crash. <\/p>\n
First responders to the scene took the man to a nearby hospital where, officials said, he was placed in critical condition. <\/p>\n
An investigation is underway as, officials said, officers are working to track down the vehicle involved in this crash.<\/p>\n
The Philadelphia Police Department is asking anyone who may have information on this crash to contact the department’s Crash Investigation Unit at 215-685-3180. <\/p>\n
