WYOMISSING, PA \u2014 Police responded to a range of incidents across Wyomissing on Monday, including a crash with injuries, fraud investigations, and multiple service calls, according to records released by the Wyomissing Police Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to police, activity began shortly after midnight April 20 with a welfare check on Berkshire Court at 1:25 a.m., where an individual was provided transportation to another hotel.<\/p>\n

At 3:52 a.m., officers conducted a security check at a business on Berkshire Boulevard after finding an unsecured rear door. Police reported the interior was checked and the door was secured.<\/p>\n

Later that morning, at 7:16 a.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Old Mill Road. According to police, contact was made with the resident, who advised no assistance was needed.<\/p>\n

At 10:15 a.m., police were dispatched to Ridgewood Road for a motor vehicle accident in a private parking lot. Investigators reported no injuries and no vehicles required towing.<\/p>\n

At 10:38 a.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at State Hill Road and Penn Avenue. According to investigators, one man was transported to Reading Hospital for treatment, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.<\/p>\n

Police also handled a burglar alarm on Meadow Lane at 10:27 a.m., which was canceled prior to arrival after a valid passcode was provided.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, officers conducted background checks at a location on Reading Boulevard at 1:25 p.m. and again at 2:05 p.m., according to police records.<\/p>\n

At 2:02 p.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Park Road North, where no emergency was found. Around the same time, at 2:07 p.m., police conducted a welfare check on Old Mill Road and transported an individual to their residence.<\/p>\n

Later in the day, at 5:29 p.m., officers responded to Delaware Avenue for a reported fraud investigation, which remains under review. At 6:13 p.m., police responded to a retail theft on State Hill Road involving approximately $98 in stolen merchandise.<\/p>\n

At 7:54 p.m., officers investigated a report of access device fraud on Crossing Drive involving a credit card. Police said the case remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

Police also responded at 8:26 p.m. to another 911 hang-up call on Park Road North, which was determined to be an accidental dial with no emergency.<\/p>\n

Additionally, officers assisted Shillington Borough and Cumru Township police with a DUI checkpoint on Lancaster Avenue beginning at 8:00 p.m., according to authorities.<\/p>\n

All incidents remain under investigation unless otherwise noted.<\/p>\n

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.<\/p>\n
