Buffalo looked shaky early but found its footing and now controls the series heading into Game 4.<\/p>\n<p>Up in Rochester, the Red Wings dropped a tight one to Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre, 6-5, in a game that came down to the wire. Rochester couldn\u2019t hold on late, giving the RailRiders the one-run edge they needed.<\/p>\n<p>In the majors, the Yankees swept Boston with a 4-2 win, pushing their winning streak to six games and improving to 16-9. Schlitter was credited with the victory \u2014 his second win against the Red Sox already this season. It\u2019s a quality start to the year for New York. The Knicks, meanwhile, fell 109-108 to Atlanta, with CJ McCollum doing the damage again for the Hawks. New York now trails the series 2-1 and has to figure out how to slow McCollum down before things get more difficult.
